The VICE 9 is a weapon in Saints Row, Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: Total Control.

DescriptionEdit

It is the least powerful pistol in the game as it takes five hits or two headshots to kill, and is also the cheapest, as it costs $100 in SR1 and $400 in SR2. It has a fast rate of fire and 12-round magazine. It is the main weapon of the The Protagonist during cutscenes.

The model of the VICE 9 changes between Saints Row and Saints Row 2, but the original model from Saints Row can still be seen in some cutscenes.^[1]

In Saints Row 2, this is the only Pistol available from Friendly Fire at the beginning of the game.

Silenced VICE 9Edit

A silenced Vice 9 can be seen in Saints Row 2, but not used. During a cutscene for the Ronin mission Visiting Hours, a Ronin gang member can be seen using a VICE 9 with a suppressor attached to the barrel. It can found in the game's data files, and the PC version can be modded so that it can be added to the Weapons Cache.

• The Saints Row 1 model resembles a Beretta 92FS, while the Saints Row 2 model resembles the Beretta 81 Cheetah, due to overall shape and magazine size.
• It is spelled all uppercase, which could be a reference to GLOCK, which is always spelled in uppercase on the GLOCK website.
