There are many different ways to unlock rewards in Saints Row 2.

DescriptionEdit

• In missions, simply completing the mission will unlock the reward
• In Activities, rewards are unlocked upon completing Level 3, and Level 6
• In some Diversions, rewards are unlocked upon completing Level 10
• In other Diversions, rewards are unlocked for performing a certain number of actions.

Diversion unlockables based on performing a certain number of actions may be unobtaining when starting a second game under the same profile, as they are based on the count in the Statistics, which are associated with the profile used, and not the game save.

Gang Customization cars are added to the Gang Vehicle options at the Saints Hideout, not your garage.

Unlockable vehicles are not counted towards the 64 vehicle limit of your garage. Removing them will not free up a garage slot. So you do not have to worry about losing an unlocked car due to a "full" garage. However, if you delete one from your garage, you can never recover it.
