The Thompson is a vehicle in Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row IV and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell.
Overview
The Thompson is the third fastest helicopter, but has unusual handling which experienced players may find it useful for its sharp turning and quick maneuverability.
In Saints Row 2, the Thompson can be found at the Wardill Airport in the Airport District and is parked within the Airport Hangar crib. Sometimes it will appear on the helipad at the Stilwater Nuclear.
It is used in the checkpoint race in the Downtown District, and an unobtainable model of Thompson can be seen inside the Stilwater Science Center. The Ronin use a unique unobtainable yellow/black Thompson in the mission "One Man's Junk..." to drop bombs on the player as they ride to the festival via Shark.
In Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV, it can be found on a helipad at Wesley Cutter Intl airport.
Another can be found parked on the stern of a cargo ship to the west of the Organ Blackmarket in Salander. As space is tight and the deck is at an angle, some care will be required to fly it away. In Saints Row IV, it is parked in the northern pier.

Trivia
- There is no Cheat for this vehicle in any game.
- The Thompson is a Light Piston Helicopter resembling a Sikorsky S-300 and Bell 47.
- The name may be an oblique reference to the Gazelle helicopter - the Thomson's Gazelle is the most common type of gazelle in East Africa, and probably the best known worldwide.
- There is "sp_key" variant of Thompson in Saints Row IV, although it is never used in the game.
