"The Morning After" is a bonus mission[1] in Saints Row: The Third.

Description Edit

After controlling the entirety of the Stanfield district (by completing all City Takeover gameplay in the Burns Hill, Ashwood, Salander and Brickston neighborhoods), The Protagonist receives a phone call from Kinzie Kensington.

Rewards Edit

Transcript Edit

Kinzie Kensington: "Oh... hi."
The Protagonist: "What's wrong?"
Kinzie Kensington: "Nothing. I ordered pancakes."
The Protagonist: "That a euphemism or something?"
Kinzie Kensington: "Well, since we pretty much drove the Deckers out of Steelport, I thought I'd try to be... ya know... normal."
The Protagonist: "You mean, like, going more than five blocks from your place?"
Kinzie Kensington: "Let's not get crazy."
The Protagonist: "You should try it sometime."
Kinzie Kensington: "I have. It's overrated."
The Protagonist: "Well, just wanted to check in."
Kinzie Kensington: "Ok. Call if you need me..."

Trivia Edit

  • As with all bonus missions in Saints Row: The Third:
    • Reloading a save before completely taking over the district and taking it over again does not replay this conversation unless the game is reset.
    • Despite not being included as a mission statistic and not having any objectives, the string files in the game define it as a mission,[1] and saving the game after completing it shows the name "The Morning After" as the last mission completed.
  • Saving the game after completing the mission doesn't always result in the mission name being displayed on the save file as the last mission completed.[verify]
  • This mission can be failed by dying during the phone call.
  • A "morning after" is more commonly known as a hangover.
