Description
Edit
The Phoenix a fast little car that doesn't compromise handling. This subject requires more information. You can help by editing this page.
Jessica's Phoenix
Edit
Jessica uses a special variant of the Phoenix, which is used in the mission Bank Error in Your Favor.
It is not possible to use the Shaft to tow Jessica's Phoenix, either when it is parked, or after Jessica is put into the trunk.
Obtain in single player
- This can also be done during a mission replay, using the "replay in a replay" method.
- Play the mission as normal, until instructed to put Jessica in the trunk of her car.
- Before putting Jessica in the trunk, throw a Satchel on the back of her car.
- Stand in the marker, and press the buttons to detonate the charge and put Jessica in the trunk simultaneously.
- If this has been done correctly, the cutscene of putting Jessica into the trunk should play, with some effects of the explosion visible.
- After the cutscene, the Mission Failed screen will be shown, exit the mission to keep the car.
Obtain in co-op
- Start the mission Bank Error in Your Favor on co-op (not through the Newspaper Clipboard)
- Play the mission as normal, until instructed to put Jessica in the trunk of her car.
- The guest must throw a Satchel Charge at Jessica.
- Just as the Satchel charge is about to hit Jessica, the host must press the button to her in the trunk.
- The Mission Failed screen will show, but after exiting, the host will be in the car.
The Bandit
Edit

Added by Dermis5A variant, named "The Bandit" on the unlock screen, can be unlocked in the Garage by getting three gold stars on in the Near Miss, Oncoming Lane, and Big Air Driving Stunts.
This variant is non-customizable and is black with a large phoenix shaped decal and a license plate that says "ANGLEAH".
The Bandit variant returns in Saints Row: The Third, Mayor Burt Reynolds drives this vehicle when he is called as a homie. This variant cannot be modified normally, but there is a Rim Jobs glitch which allows non-customizable vehicles to be modified.
In both games, the name "The Bandit" is not displayed in the garage, the display name is still "Phoenix".

Trivia
Edit
- The Cheat Code for this vehicle in Saints Row 2 is #1064.
- The Cheat Code for this vehicle in Saints Row: The Third is "givephoenix".
- The game data files define an unused 'Arms Dealer' variant with an open trunk and the license plate "SHRPNL", which would have been used to buy bombs in the Room Service mission, before going to the hotel.
- It is a modernized adaptation of the 1970-1974 Pontiac Firebird, with similar tail-lights of a 1994 Porsche 994, but also looks similar to the 2010 Camaro, which are both classified as 'Pony Cars.'
- The Bandit variant is a reference to the car from the old movie series Smokey and the Bandit, which stars Burt Reynolds.
- In Saints Row: The Third, the Phoenix has a lower chance of rolling in any direction.
- In Saints Row: The Third, for some odd reason[Citation needed that there is an odd reason for this], the Phoenix has two sets of pedals for both the driver and the passenger, easily seen when modifying the roof to a convertible.
