Vehicle table[]

I copied the vehicle table from the police notoriety page, but i don't think it is correct.
According to this table, only a Five-O and Estrada will pursue you at level 1, and if you are on water at level 1, nothing will pursue you. This doesn't seem correct. Surely a police shark will pursue you at level 1 in the water!
Next week I will experiment with the game and make corrections, unless someone else would like to do that.

I must remember to experiment with this. -452 05:10, June 28, 2011 (UTC)
Yes, you really should. --452 23:56, January 9, 2012 (UTC)
Wow, it's been more than a year since I said I would do this "Next week". The good news is, I've found the data file where notoriety spawns are controlled, so I'll generate a table from that, tomorrow, which is sooner than "next week". --452 01:10, April 27, 2012 (UTC)
Okay, done. And the verdict: No vehicles are ever spawned at level 1 notoriety, only normal randomly spawned enemies will attack. Vehicles begin to be specially spawned at level 2 only, even on land. --452 04:20, May 6, 2012 (UTC)

SRTT vehicle list[]

Can someone please confirm that Peacemakers still spawn while STAG are present? --452 23:56, January 9, 2012 (UTC)

STAG replaces SWAT and SNG, but not the police. Evil Tim 12:42, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

SR3 Shared Notoriety[]

The game seems to keep track of which gang you gained notoriety for in the first place. If you start off in Deckers territory and manage at least two stars (the minimum notoriety level in which they'll actively chase you), you can continue to engage them while moving into the territory of the other gangs. Using the Deckers example, you can end up fighting endless hordes of Deckers in front of Saints HQ or Zimo's Pad, both Morningstar territory. The Morningstar will not chase you.

I do not know if it is possible to have notoriety with multiple gangs. In other words, is it possible to get two gangs (not law enforcement) to chase after you?

I've managed to figure out notoriety with multiple gangs. The game keeps track of notoriety with each gang seperately. The gang you have the highest notoriety with will chase you.
I started with Level 3 Decker notoriety and moved into a Luchadore gang operation. I then used a tank (explosives quickly get Level 3 notoriety) to shoot some but not all of the Luchadores, left to force them to respawn, and came back to shoot them again. I also took care to engage the Deckers to maintain notoriety with them. After the first drive-by, Deckers continued to be spawned to hunt me. After the second drive-by, Luchadores were being spawned to hunt me. Deckers stopped spawning. Remaining Deckers still engaged me. My displayed notoriety never went down. This leads to the conclusion the game does track notoriety with each gang seperately.

Morning Star definately have access to Tornados at five stars, not sure about the other gangs. Evil Tim 12:46, February 16, 2012 (UTC)
Alright... it's not as simple as I thought it'd be. I tried something similar again. Angered the Luchadores and went into Morningstar territory to bust the latter's Gang Operations. I made quick work of the Morningstars with a tank so I didn't expect their notoriety to overtake the Luchadores notoriety. Moving around the Downtown area, the Luchadores continued to chase me and put up roadblocks... the usual stuff. But then I saw a Morningstar roadblock. It was small, with only two vehicles and a few gang members (presumably the Lv. 2 notoriety roadblock due to decay after getting Lv.3 from firing the tank cannon during the gang op). This looks like it could use a bit more research.

I'll make some tables from the SR3 data files next. --452 04:13, May 6, 2012 (UTC)

Nyanic-man at your service![]

I know a bit about SRTT notoriety, and I might help with this. Please tell me when I can start.

Great. Post anything you know here so I and other users can confirm or correct your info. TheMoonLightman (talk) 01:37, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

Table style[]

Originally, this article had very ugly tables, but on 2012-02-18 an anon user added a table with the article-table class which I subsequently used for all other tables I added, and finally switched over all other tables on 2013-12-20.
Since that time, a number of tables have been added using the wikitable class, and now all tables have been switched to using wikitable.

I think that article-table works better in this article because it makes it looks less crowded, especially with the text-heavy tables. I can see no benefit to switching these over to wikitable. -452 (talk) 13:13, March 2, 2014 (UTC)

Now switched back to article-table. I leave this marked as active for a few more months to seek feedback. -452 13:39, June 3, 2015 (UTC)
No feedback in 5 months, unmarking as active. -452 04:55, November 9, 2015 (UTC)
