Ho Boat[]

I'm glad you knew what it was, because I was just about to RV it, haha. -452 23:10, September 16, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I'll add a reference for it later, but the only video for it at the moment is on GTTV, and the GameTrailers media player is a bit naff and awkward to navigate through all the rubbish. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 23:22, September 16, 2011 (UTC)

Nyte Blayde error[]

You need to fix Nyte Blayde's return. It's part of Act 2, not Act 3. It's right before Stag Party if I recall. (Unsigned: 99.179.77.174 13:09, 26 November 2011)

Yep, this page still needs some work. Anyone is free to edit a wiki though, so if you see a problem, feel free to fix it. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 13:30, November 26, 2011 (UTC)
How do you know where the border between Act 2 and Act 3 is? -452 01:35, December 15, 2012 (UTC)

Activity missions[]

There are a couple of missions that are actually activities. Almost all easy activities have to be completed to advance the storyline. Should they be noted and if so they should probably be written down like the 2 activities in Act 1. Sjacie 18:51, November 30, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I believe they even count as missions in the stats, don't they? If you know what Activities need to be done in what order, feel free to add them. I indented the ones in Act 1 to distinguish them from actual missions. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 13:33, December 1, 2011 (UTC)
I don't think they are counted as missions but the missions which are only cutscenes do so they should be added. But most easy versions of activities are also missions if you don't complete them first around Steelport. In act 1 you can also get tank mayhem and genki's SERC as missions... I'll check it out soon and fix it (if nobody beats me to it :P). Sjacie 21:04, December 1, 2011 (UTC)

Pub Crawl?[]

What the heck is Pub Crawl? I don't recall a mission by that name... (Unsigned: 99.179.77.174 22:52, 3 December 2011)

If you're absolutely 100% sure that the mission does not exist, then feel free to remove it. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 23:10, December 3, 2011 (UTC)
Pub Crawl shows up as the title of the last mission completed in a save game file after you find all the collectibles. Similarly, "There Is No Try" is the title for completing all challenges. Both are required for 100% completion, but neither are "real" missions, and I don't think they count as missions in the stats. Invisible Green 05:35, December 6, 2011 (UTC)
Huh...I have found all the collectibles, but haven't completed all the challenges yet, but I have "There Is No Try" on my save file. I assumed it was cause I went back and did the alternate ending in Three Way. Nice Star Wars reference though. (unsigned: 99.179.77.174 05:21, December 7, 2011)
Ah, you're probably right; I was just guessing. Invisible Green 23:32, December 9, 2011 (UTC)
Pubcrawl is the name of teh save file after completeing absolutly everything in the Downtown area, inculding activites, gang operations, and missions. (unsigned: MasonD 01:14, December 19, 2011)
As I have said below, Pub Crawl is a specific mission which is started via a call from Pierce. --452 01:23, December 19, 2011 (UTC)

It's one of the titles you get if you save after taking control over a whole section of the city, after the phonecall. Pub Crawl is the one for Downtown, referencing the call where Pierce says he's going to the pub to win a trivia contest. There Is No Try is after you take over the Luchadores part of town. I have a 100% save called High Times, I don't know if that's special for 100% or if it's the title for one of the other two sections.--OvaltinePatrol 17:13, December 12, 2011 (UTC)

No it's not a special 100% title. I had 100% with STAG Film as name. So High Times is probably earned by taking over an entire district. Sjacie 19:03, December 12, 2011 (UTC)
Pub Crawl is definitely a mission (see list of missions below)
I can confirm that this "missions" is started by a phone call with Pierce, and there appears to be an objective to meet Pierce at the Saints HQ. --452 00:52, December 19, 2011 (UTC)

Flowchart[]

Since Saints 3 has acts with small story arcs maybe its a good idea to make flowcharts for the three acts. I can make those but I want to know if it's a good idea or not. Sjacie 19:13, December 8, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, have a go and post it here so we can see what it looks like first. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 15:15, December 11, 2011 (UTC)
Act 1 flowchart

Act 1

So it looks like this, it's only act 1 since that one is easiest :P. And that's the only act that currently has complete mission coverage on this wiki. Sjacie 11:59, December 12, 2011 (UTC)
If all missions can only be taken sequentially then there is little need for a flowchart, as a Flowchart is usually used for forking paths. I'm all in favour of the SRTT mission template being split up or colour-coded in a similar manner. --452 06:45, December 13, 2011 (UTC)
This is just an act 1 flowchart, act 1 is linear. Act 2 is not and the activite missions given by Angel don't have to be completed for a very long time. I don't even know if they have to be completed in Act 2. I'm currently doing another playthrough just to look at when you have to complete everything, I should be done tomorrow then the mission page will be complete with all 47 missions. Then I'll make a complete flowchart for the entire game. Sjacie 17:49, December 13, 2011 (UTC)
I actually really like it. It's much better than I thought it would look. However, I'm worried that, even with just 1 Act, it's a little too long, and it will only get longer with the other 2 Acts listed. I'm also currently playing through the game again at the moment, so I'll see how your information compares to mine. And don't worry user452, the second and third Acts do break up. A lot. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 23:20, December 13, 2011 (UTC)
I'm also a little concerned about the length, but I'm looking forward to seeing the rest. :) --452 02:56, December 14, 2011 (UTC)
I'll be done saturday with the playthrough. So the full flowchart will be done saturday or sunday. Sjacie 14:09, December 15, 2011 (UTC)
Don't feel rushed man. Take your time. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 14:33, December 15, 2011 (UTC)
Finished it. Sjacie 10:58, December 27, 2011 (UTC)

Saints Row: The Third mission flowchart

Nice, could you please go into detail about the colors used? --452 12:07, December 27, 2011 (UTC)
Is it accurate that the Painting a Picture doesn't require Trojan Whores to be completed? --452 12:13, December 27, 2011 (UTC)
Based on your flowchart, I have upgraded the mission list. --452 12:27, December 27, 2011 (UTC)
The mission progress is accurate, maybe Stilwater Blues should be added but the game doesn't count that as a mission. The colors represent the gang arcs. Purple, Red, Blue, Green and Orange are the Saints, Morning Star, Deckers, Luchadores and STAG. The lighter versions of red blue and green represent activities which are repeatable. Sjacie 12:51, December 27, 2011 (UTC)
Oops i was looking at the mission page and now i'm seeing that Phone Phreak isn't connected right. Phone Phreak doesn't have to be completed to do Live! With Killbane and Convoy Decoy but it has to be completed to do stop all the downloading, I think I connected it wrong after i tried to cut down the size a bit. Sjacie 08:44, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, so "Live with Killbane" comes after "Gang Bang" still, correct? I see that you removed it from the page, but didn't re-add Phone Phreak as a requirement for "Stop all the Downloading" --452 09:13, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
Now I think about it, that messes up the missions page a bit. Are you certain that "Live with Killbane" can be done without having done "Phone Phreak"? --452 09:15, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
Saints 3 mission flowchart act2 corrections
Saints 3 mission flowchart act2 corrections2

Are either of these correct? The one one the left changes "Phone Phreak" to be a requirement of "Stop all the downloading". The one on the right just changes it so "Phone Phreak" isn't a requirement of "Gang Bang", but "Phone Phreak" and "Gang Bang are a requirement of "Live with Killbane" --452 10:20, December 28, 2011 (UTC)

I've Forum:Mission flowchart posted a new draft, with some notes. --452 01:19, July 26, 2012 (UTC)

Since no-one has shown any interest in the flowchart in 2 years, I think I'm just going to propose it for deletion. -452 (talk) 19:02, January 31, 2014 (UTC)
I should probably just add a deletion template to the top of every article and see if anyone cares at all. -452 (talk) 14:40, January 12, 2015 (UTC)

The wikia mobile skin is messing up the Flow chart. It works fine if i copy/paste the source, so it's definitely a problem with the renderer dropping important information - thanks a lot, Wikia. -452 (talk) 14:40, January 12, 2015 (UTC)

Since the problem is that it was dropping the inline styles, I've updated it with classes for every style. It's a dumb problem, but it's fixed. -452 (talk) 15:53, January 12, 2015 (UTC)

Missions[]

As there has been some debate about the mission titles and cutscene titles, here are the names of all missions in SRTT. Note that "PUB CRAWL" is in this list.

--452 00:39, December 19, 2011 (UTC)

Unfortunately, most of the strings in the data files are in all caps, which makes it hard to name articles definitively.
I vote for having missions titles follow the pattern of previous games, important words with a capital, unimportant words such as "in", "to" and "the" in lower case, rather than the alternative of having each word with a capital. --452 00:59, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
--452 00:59, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
I agree. There's no reason to not go with normal capitalisation rules, unless we started having names in all-caps too. :D
And I must say, I do not recognise the missions "Pub Crawl", "There is No Try", "High Times", or "The Morning After" and I've completed the game 100%. Reading the #Pub Crawl? section above, I'm wondering, could these be the names of files after completing City Takeover in each of the four districts? You're always phoned up after completing them.
Oh, and "Ho Traffic" and "Eye of the Tiger" is Trafficking and Tiger Escort repectively. They are named in the Cell Phone missions list for some strange reason, despite all other "Activity-missions" being named after their Activities. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 15:55, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
Sounds likely about City Takeover, someone needs to try saving the game immediately after. Actually, saving the game after the phone call would work, i guess. Do you have to meet Pierce after he calls you? --452 23:18, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
After taking over a District you're phoned up and have a short conversation with a character, and that's it, no driving anywhere. I've almost taken over the New Colvin district so I'll save it after and see what the save file says. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 14:26, December 21, 2011 (UTC)
Nope, that's why it's odd - during early Act 2 you do a bunch of ordinary Activities as missions for the new Saints (usually the easy instance of each Activity). The missions are named after the Activities, but Trafficking for Zimos is named Ho Traffic and Tiger Escort for Angel is named Eye of the Tiger for seemingly no reason. The medium and hard instances, which are done outside of the storyline, are named normally. There just doesn't seem to be a reason as to why these two "Activity-missions" are renamed.
I was thinking we should just consider making a redirect and noting it in the Trivia. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 23:55, December 19, 2011 (UTC)
Strange.
So the differently named first activities are identical to the medium and hard instances? Other than the difficulty, of course? I agree with the redirects and trivia, in that case.
Since I was confused earlier, here's a reworded repeat of an earlier question: Also, Cyber Blazing is listed as being a different activity from Trail Blazing. Since it is named differently, I think Cyber Blazing should be a separate article, is there reason for it not to be? --452 12:03, December 21, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I think Cyber Blazing should have its own article. No question about it really. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 14:26, December 21, 2011 (UTC)
Confirmed: "High Times" is the name of the save file after the phone call you get from Zimos after completing all City Takeover gameplay in New Colvin. I imagine it's the same with the other three missions. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 17:49, December 23, 2011 (UTC)

Columns[]

Is it possible to implement columns in wikia? Wikipedia uses it for lengthy References sections (see here) and I was wondering if perhaps we could put some of the missions in seperate columns? Just a thought until we can think of a better way to organise the list of missions. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 22:15, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

You mean like the columns on the main page, and on the Radio Stations in Saints Row 2 page? Certainly! I was thinking of just a table, but columns may work a little better, good idea.
Sorry about the slowness of replies, wikia has stopped sending me emails for talk pages for some reason. --452 13:04, December 27, 2011 (UTC)
<div style="column-count:[1];-moz-column-count:[1];-webkit-column-count:[1]">
Make [1] the number of desired columns, list all the things you want and put a </div> tag after you are done. If you want I'll template it. --Eltomo85Talk 00:52, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
Thankyou, however

We already

have some

column templates.

--452 08:02, December 28, 2011 (UTC)

Layout[]

I've reformatted the missions using columns so it's (ideally) a lot more easier to comprehend now, and it follows the Missions in Saints Row article by having a brief introduction to the act before the list of missions. However, I'm not sure if it works as well since the columns are uneven and look a little... clumsy. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 21:54, February 24, 2012 (UTC)

I agree that the previous version was too long, but I don't like that the Arcs are no longer labelled, and it's unclear which missions are required to be completed before others are available. --452 22:37, February 24, 2012 (UTC)
I've been intending on implementing a flowchart-like solution, based on the images in my "10:20, December 28, 2011" comment, but I never received a reply about which one was correct. --452 22:39, February 24, 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I was playing the game for a second time around the same time he was, although rather than a flowchart, I just made some notes in WordPad. However, my order of missions ended up being a lot simpler than his, and I found his mission unlock requirements to be far more confusing than the game presented them. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 12:25, March 2, 2012 (UTC)
So Painting a Picture doesn't need to be completed before Pimps Up, Hos Down? --452 02:09, March 3, 2012 (UTC)
According to my WordPad notes, no. Still, it's been a few months, so I do plan on flying through the game with cheats on to see if/how missions unlock differently depending on what order you play them. – Moozipan Cheese(talk page) 17:38, March 3, 2012 (UTC)

Task Force template problem[]

The template (the one at the bottom of the page) appears to be broken. And it looks like only SRTT missions pages, like Nyte Blayde's Return and some other, have this problem. I'm not sure if there are any other pages with broken template, but these are the only ones I've saw.
TheMoonLightman (Message Wall, contribs) 07:41, March 28, 2014 (UTC)

It's currently looking fine to me, what's it look like to you? -452 (talk) 09:08, March 28, 2014 (UTC)
Ah, I see "{{Expansion depth limit exceeded" on Nyte Blayde's Return, and it's not going away. Damn, I thought I had fixed that problem. -452 (talk) 09:12, March 28, 2014 (UTC)
The good news is, I know what the problem is. The bad news is, strongholds, like Abandoned Storefront, and any other mission articles with two categories now have 2 footers due to the fix, haha. -452 (talk) 09:29, March 28, 2014 (UTC)
(This issue was fixed soon afterwards, but I apparently didn't post an update. -452 (talk) 14:21, August 27, 2014 (UTC))

Counter progress[]

Re: Activities and "cinematic missions" count in the Statistics as missions but are only added after a completing a subsequent mission with a reward screen.

Are we sure that this is correct? I have a feeling I may have been the one who added this, but since there appears to be no discussion about it, independent verification would be nice. -452 (talk) 09:57, December 19, 2014 (UTC)
