Unlocking[]

An anon user added that the first Keith David quest "Campaign of Destruction" only unlocks the weapon if you pre-ordered the game.
This smells like nonsense to me, and the pre-ordered game is not special. It does not automatically unlock the pre-order DLC, it just gives a free code which can be redeemed online. If they were going to have an actual difference on the disc, surely they would also have the pre-order automatically unlocked.
I didn't pre-order the game, but when I bought it they handed me the CiC edition anyway, so I'm unfortunately unable to verify this myself.
Does anyone have the regular edition of the game? -452 12:22, August 30, 2013 (UTC)

I read it somewhere, i'll try to find it and cite it next time. Sorry. 173.16.131.212 01:23, August 31, 2013 (UTC)
Nothing beats first hand experience. But if you do find where you read it, let me know so I can go there and tell them they are wrong. -452 12:49, August 31, 2013 (UTC)

Fourth track[]

So, from listening to the audio files, I noticed there was a fourth track. I haven't finished playing through the game, so I don't know if it's used in a mission or not, but here's a youtube video with someone using the fourth track. They think it's a glitch, I think it's a secret. Anyone know anything? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoMO23gyQJ4 -452 21:05, August 31, 2013 (UTC)

The fourth track is used in Hello Teacup, and is not unlocked. It's internally named "Da Wub" has the description "Pound 'em with sound." Anyone who HAS obtained it via whatever glitch should be able to verify this in-game.
I've tried a few tricks to try and get it, but I've been unable to. (I've tried: saving after picking it up in the mission, and going into the mission with the dubstep gun equipped, then quitting the mission after picking it up - someone should try NOT obtaining the Dubstep Gun until after completing the mission.)

Done. Saved before mission, without having unlocked the Dubstep Gun and played through the mission. After the mission, the default Dubstep Gun was in the Weapons Cache. No patches. -452 (talk) 00:09, April 7, 2014 (UTC)
I've watched some more recent videos about this "glitch", and most people seem to experience this problem in relation to the messed up patch. For now, I'm unmarking it as active, under the assumption that the original poster had installed the patch. If anyone has any other evidence of any kind, please post. -452 (talk) 01:25, April 8, 2014 (UTC)

Sound Glitch[]

So I got the dubstep gun and was using it in the CID mission, and now the sound won't turn off, even when I don't have the dubstep gun with me. It's rather annoying as you can imagine. Does anyone have a way to fix this? ~Zsashas (unsigned: 64.180.84.227 - 2014-01-05 05:37:35)

Have you tried turning it off and on again? -452 (talk) 05:54, January 5, 2014 (UTC)

Origin[]

In case it is ever questioned: the default track is "A Bass Renaissance" by "Josh Powell". Anyone who thinks otherwise is provably wrong. Anyone who attempts to argue otherwise is ignoring the evidence.

How can "A Bass Renaissance" be the copy if there is no prior evidence of the other? It cannot. -452 21:19, February 28, 2015 (UTC)

Oktoberfest Dubstep Gun song name[]

I've never edited on this wikia before, so I didn't know if I should edit the page or not, but the song that the Oktoberfest Dubstep plays is called Polka Mit Pfiff by Elmer Stigman, licenced from APM Music https://youtu.be/MybfoWrIrbE https://www.apmmusic.com/albums/KPM-0072 .Misfit 1-4 (talk) 11:34, August 17, 2017 (UTC)
