Saints Row: Total Control
The shock paddles can be used as an alternative to the Stun Gun, they do not do much damage, but can stun enemies. It takes no more than three hits with the Shock Paddles to kill an enemy, but most civilians can be killed in less.
Even outside of the EMT diversion, shock paddles can be used to revive dead people, including Saints members, enemy gangs, police, and civilians. After reviving someone, they will have full health again. It is not possible to revive anyone during missions, activities or diversions.
The Shock Paddles can also be used instead of the normal method of reviving a homie who has been killed. During missions, however, Shock Paddles can only be used to revive followers, and not enemies, and cannot be used in cases of storyline deaths.
As they can revive anyone that has been killed, like gang members, it is possible to use the Shock Paddles to continually kill and revive an enemy, which can be used to raise Diversion stars in Combat Tricks, and gain Respect.
- The Cheat for this weapon is #950
- There is an Easter Egg included in the game which causes the Shock Paddles to launch victims into the air. To trigger this, first kill someone, then turn around and walk a short distance and come back and they should be lying on their back in a 'star' position. Use the shock paddles on them and they will be launched into the air. They will be revived by the shock, but may be killed again upon landing.
- Although it is not possible to use Shock Paddles while driving a vehicle, it is possible to do so during Ambulance EMT Diversion. The Protagonist uses the same animation if a Thrown weapon is used.
