There are many poor-quality images on the wiki, such as:

  • Photos of TV screens
  • Watermarked images from parasitic sites who slap their logos on things they do not own.
  • Low-resolution versions of promo images and trailer screenshots
  • Needlessly small images
  • Warped aspect ratios
  • Poorly framed or obscured screenshots
  • Duplicate images

Some of these are easier to replace than others, but the first step is identifying them, to this end, I have been reviewing all images which have ever been uploaded to the wiki, chronologically.

As of 2015-11, the first 6000 images on the wiki have been added to this page, which covers up to 2013-01.
As of 2016-05, the first 12000 images on the wiki have been added to this page, which covers up to 2014-10. I have not continued to review since then due to being overwhelmed by the number of images added that time with various issues including incorrect aspect ratios.
  • The fact that the first 12000 images have been added to this page does not necessarily indicate they have been reviewed and deemed acceptable. It is entirely possible that I have overlooked some poor quality images, and I will be conducting a full review again from the beginning in the future.
  • Obviously good quality images are immediately removed from the page.
  • When an image is obviously poor quality and there is no an immediate way to replace it, I have marked it for replacement and removed it from this page.
  • Poor-quality image which can be immediately replaced are replaced and removed - such as when a duplicate image exists, or when it's obviously a promo image which can be found via a google reverse image search.

Images which are obviously from game trailers are moved to the trailers section, and/or marked for replacement.

Everything below that is un-reviewed. Images listed on this page may be good quality or poor quality, and remain listed until that is determined.

If you think an image listed here is poor quality, please feel free to upload a new version of the image, or upload a replacement and mark the poor-quality version for replacement. Please do not remove them from this page.
