Plot
Edit
It takes place after the events of Saints Row 2. The 3rd Street Saints ruled Stilwater at the end of the game, however The Protagonist is stated to have disappeared, but the reason is not revealed. [2]
The Brotherhood of Stilwater, Sons of Samedi and the Ronin came back, and The Protagonist's cousin must reclaim Stilwater.
Basics
Edit
As it is a flash-based Facebook game, every action can be done with the click of your mouse. To take over a entire hood, the player must attack and capture all the buildings in that given hood. Gangs who own that hood will sometimes send reinforcements. When the gangs send their goons, you will need to click on them and kill them before they destroy your stronghold.
Characters
Edit
- Guy is the leader of the revived Ronin.
- Sister Calypso is the leader of the revived Sons of Samedi.
- Torque is a lieutenant of the Brotherhood of Stilwater.
Crew
Edit
Crew is a group of people selected by the player, who are real people that the player has added on Facebook. They give the player certain abilities and advantages while playing.[reference?] They are required in order to capture some buildings, and as such some neighborhoods are impossible to conquer without crew. This means that the game is a either a forced-multiplayer or forced-pay game, impossible to complete without either involving other people, or paying actual money to "instant capture" the buildings.
Stronghold
Edit
Your stronghold is what keeps you in control of your hoods. A stronghold for the saints is added whenever a hood is unlocked. The stronghold will send gang members to take over houses or fight against enemies. When your stronghold's Health Points hits 0, you will not be able to do anything in that hood until the stronghold is repaired. Strongholds are repaired by purchasing repair kits. Your stronghold can be customized to make it stronger, however will cost lots of cash.
Trivia
Edit
- Total Control, along with the unreleased Saints Row: Money Shot, are currently the only Saints Row games that don't feature The Protagonist as a playable character.
