DescriptionEdit

Competitive multiplayer modes are not included in Saints Row: The Third.

It is not possible to play offline locally using a System Link cable without first buying an "Online" Pass on Xbox live.

It is not possible to play any form of multiplayer in Saints Row: The Third with players on a different platform.

Co-opEdit

There are multiple co-op diversions which are not available in the single player game.

Cat and MouseEdit

The Cat and Mouse diversion can be started by one player killing the other. Once the diversion is started, one player will be in an attack vehicle, and the other in a normal vehicle.

The objective of the "Cat" is to kill the "Mouse", while the latter drives from checkpoint to checkpoint whilst staying alive. When the objective is completed then the two players will switch around and the diversion will restart.

There are 5 vehicle combinations.

• F-69 VTOL - Attrazione
• Vulture - Kenshin
• Tornado - Bootlegger
• Challenger - Knoxville
• Specter - Toad

While there was a "Cat and Mouse" promo image featuring the F-69 VTOL as the "cat" and the Specter as the "mouse" vehicle, this combination does not appear in game.

Whored ModeEdit

Whored Mode is the spiritual successor to the Zombie Uprising minigame from Saints Row 2 and can be played in either single player or co-op mode. you run around killing whores found in game with weapons racking up points. person to have the most wins in the end

Online PassEdit

The Online Pass DLC is required to play both online and offline multiplayer modes.^[1][2]

Despite each new copy of Saints Row: The Third containing a redemption code for the "Online Pass", it is not possible to activate offline multiplayer without first going online.
