Void is a vehicle in Saints Row IV.

Overview[]

The Void is a VTOL alien UFO used by the Zin, it has two laser cannons and a third cannon that fires three laser balls. The firing mechanisms on the Void are different compared to the F-69 VTOL and the Screaming Eagle.

When in hover mode, the back transforms into an upright position. It features a black and red body paint job and seats a total of three.

It has good acceleration, but like all aircrafts, it tends to slow down after pitching up and pitching down. It has good handling and it can fly between tall buildings and tight gaps quick and easily due to its flat body shape.

Variants[]

There are 4 variants of the Void.

  • Satin Bright White, Saints Purple and Alloy Body, Jet Black and Alloy trim.

  • Chrome and Silver body, Silver trim.

M03 - Displayname: "<VOID>"
  • Redline Body Kit, carbonfiber decal.
  • Alien Grey and Chrome body, Black Titanium, Silver and Slate Gray trim.

This is a separate vehicle, used by Zin in either The Saints Wing or The Real World. It is only obtainable by editing the game files or using a garage editor.

Trivia[]

  • When pitching downward in flight mode, it glitches and violently twists around and accelerates down.
  • Miniature Void models appear inside display cases at Planet Zin.
  • The Void's shape is similar to a horseshoe crab.
  • The wide shape of the Void makes it an easy target, thereby making this craft less of a threat than "traditional" airborne enemies such as assault choppers.
  • Only the right side of the frontal cannon moves freely, while the other is semi restricted, although both cannons fold up during landing form.
  • Firing the non-homing rocket spread forcibly pauses firing the laser machineguns. This, combined with the slow reload of the energy rockets, make this aircraft rather difficult to use in comparison with other options.
