The Torbitron is a vehicle in The Trouble With Clones DLC for Saints Row: The Third.
Overview[]
The Torbitron was designed by Jimmy Torbitson in order to attract Johnny Tag by having Pierce sing Aisha's songs.[1]
It is a Saints themed Criminal with a large horn attached to the roof. Like the Criminal, it also is capable of carrying brute homies in the back.
Variants[]
There is only one variant, which has no random features.
- Hood 2, Front Bumper 2, Rear Bumper 2, Misc Opt 2, Trim 1, Mirrors 1,
- Exhaust Tips 4 - double round exhaust on both sides.
- Rims #157 Lexani "Radiant" - not available at the mechanic, used by Saints Criminal and Mule, Ultimate Keystone and Status Quo, and Deckers Solar.
- Gloss Harlequin Purple body. Ice White Interior.
- Gold Rims. Gold, Wheatfield Yellow Rubber and Black Rubber Trim
- Purple Underglow, 50% Grime, 60% Window Tint
Trivia[]
- Despite being described by Jimmy as a "mobile stage",[1] it is actually never used by the Saints to broadcast Pierce's voice. Pierce only sings at the actual stage at Planet Saints.
- The only thing it is used for is playing the Saints theme song when approaching Planet Saints, but it doesn't do this outside the mission.
- Brute Homies, such as Johnny Tag, Aisha Brutella, Space Brutina and Oleg, can ride in the back just like they do in a Criminal. This makes the Torbitron the only other vehicle which can carry Brutes.
- The design of the car is an homage to the Bluesmobile from the movie The Blues Brothers.
- The Torbitron is non-customizable.
