The Hounfor is a vehicle in Saints Row 2.
Overview[]
This vehicle is featured in several cutscenes and The General uses it as his office, traveling where he needs to go around Stilwater. It is said to be heavily armoured as it is almost invincible during missions, but can't take much more damage than a regular limo when Playa drives it. It has side lights which light up at night, appearing as the eyes of the skulls.
It has bad handling, slow acceleration and an average top speed.
This car is unable to be modified.
Obtaining[]
During "The Shopping Maul" mission:
- Shoot the car until the driver gets out
- Enter the car
- Exit mission at any time, it does not matter whether the car is moved or not, after ending the mission Playa remains in the Hounfor.
- This works using any Mission Exit Glitch.[1]
- The vehicle and The General are invincible during the mission, although the vehicle shows signs of damage.
- The General can be pulled out by Homies entering the back seat. Once out of the Hounfor, The General attacks.
- After the bodyguards have been killed, The General heads towards the mall. If he enters the mall, the Hounfor explodes.

Trivia[]
- There is a design flaw where the exhaust pipe on the left is offset from the body.
- After obtaining it in the mission, the radio does not work until it is saved in the garage.
- In game the rear doors are suicide doors (they open towards the back) but in cutscenes they open normally.
- Unlike with any other 4-seat vehicle, passengers in the rear seats face backwards.
- A Hounfor is a Voudoun altar-room where Loa are called.[4][5]
- The limo is custom made to resemble a Hearse, fitting the Sons of Samedi's association with death.
- There is an unused Gang SOS variant of the Status Quo which is likely an early version of the Hounfor.[6]
