SR disambig icon This article is about the vehicle in Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV. For the vehicle in the Saints Row 2022 reboot, see Peacemaker (reboot). For the vehicle in just the fourth game, see Peacemaker (Saints Row IV). For the similar police vehicle in the first two games, see Five-O.

The Peacemaker is a vehicle in Saints Row: The Third. In Saints Row IV, it is renamed as Pacemaker.[3][4]

Overview[]

Saints Row: The Third[]

The Peacemaker is a vehicle used by the Steelport Police in Saints Row: The Third, and is Steelport's equivalent of Stilwater's Five-O.

This vehicle's design pays good reference to sports. The car has a very wide stance featuring a wide body which is most noticeable around the car's quarter areas. Each of these cars come with two dual-tipped exhaust tips, black deep-dish five-spoke rims and a central hood scoop by default.

The rear side windows have protective grills around them. These grills prevent homies in the back seat from firing out of the back windows. To add to that protective measure, a bullbar that spans across the grill and headlights is also featured at the front of the car. There is also a separating grill between the first and second row of seats.

Along with the roof mounted lights, the spotlights and the lights featured in the car's front grill, there are also flashing lights within the car's rear windshield.

The Peacemaker features a black and white paintjob. However, there are also black modified versions. They appear at level 2-3 police Notoriety, if STAG are not in Steelport. These still have numbers and logos blended with the black paint and as a result, they do not show at first glance. They also lack roof-mounted lights, but they still have grill-mounted lights, along with the spotlights near the mirrors. This version resembles an FBI cruiser because of its color and visual appearance. The unmarked versions also lack the protective grills for the rear side windows, making the unmarked version look more like a civilian car, although homies are unable to fire out of the backseats. Once an unmarked version is brought to Rim Jobs or stored in the garage, the grills reappear automatically.

Saints Row IV[]

The Pacemaker[3][4] is used by civilians in the Simulation. It has the same appearance as the Peacemaker from Saints Row: The Third, and still has a siren instead of a horn. As in Saints Row: The Third, passengers cannot fire from the rear seats. Police lights and window bars can be added through Vehicle Customization.

Performance[]

Saints Row: The Third & Saints Row IV[]

The Peacemaker's engine sound releases a mid-pitched growl that indicates it has a medium displacement V8 engine which is coupled to a 5-speed transmission. It has a variable valve timing system that kicks in when at full throttle in 2nd or 3rd gear, causing the car to audibly increase in revs. It is the same speed as the Blade, the Bootlegger and the Infuego.

Trivia[]

  • The Cheat for this vehicle in Saints Row: The Third is "givepeacemaker".
  • There is no Cheat for this vehicle in Saints Row IV.
  • Each of these vehicles has a two-digit number (00-99) on its roof much like the Five-O.
    • These digits disappear once it is stored in a garage, unlike the Five-O.
  • In Saints Row: The Third, there is no civilian version of this car, just like the Five-O and the FBI.
  • The Peacemaker and Pacemaker resemble a rounder 2006-2010 Dodge Charger (LX). It also has some resemblance to the Ford Taurus Police Interceptor.
  • In Saints Row: The Third Remastered, the Peacemaker resembles a four-door Nissan GT-R.
  • When entering the Cheat "givepeacemaker", the game shows the name 'Give Five-O' instead of 'Give Peacemaker'.
  • The license plate number on this vehicle is always "SR3-5610", regardless of whether it's the normal or unmarked black versions. Also, the Saints Row: The Third designation is likely an abbreviation of Saints Row The Third (3)
  • There is a Saints Row: The Third-style Peacemaker in the PAX Demo for Saints Row IV, although police version isn't used by police in the game.[5][6]
  • Although the bars on the rear windows are removed by default in Saints Row IV, homies do not fire out of them.
  • The Pacemakers at car accidents scenes have the siren turned on.
  • If the "unmarked" black version is stolen, and the color is changed, the Steelport Police markings are uncovered.
  • The word peacemaker refers to the word; Peace Officer, a common title given to officers of the Law.
  • The word pacemaker is a medical device for regulate the beating of the heart.
