This article is about the SWAT vehicle in Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV. For the SWAT vehicle in the first two games, see Peacekeeper. |
The Lockdown[1] is a vehicle in Saints Row: The Third[2] and Saints Row IV.
Overview[]
The Lockdown is a heavy tactical enforcement vehicle, used to carry teams of SWAT members when deployed at a high police Notoriety. It can carry only one Homie, in spite of the fact that 6-8 SWAT members can be carried. SWAT Homies with Riot Shields can hang on the side like regular SWAT.

Performance[]
This vehicle has a high resistance to damage and can take a heavy load of gunfire before the engine begins to smoke.
Unlike the STAG N-Forcer, it can be upgraded. This gives it a reasonable top speed for such a heavy vehicle and enables it to handbrake turn. It does have major flaws in close quarters fighting: it has a huge natural turning circle and weapons cannot be fired out the armour plated windows.

Trivia[]
- There is no Cheat for this vehicle in any game.
- It strongly resembles a BATT AP[3], an armoured tactical vehicle, and also resembles a Lenco BearCat.
- Lockdown is the name of a Transformer.
- The Lockdown has half-tracks on them that allows the vehicle to transport SWAT Homies with Riot Shields, with the N-Forcer being the only other transport of carrying Riot Shield users.
- Weapons cannot be used while driving the Lockdown.
- The Lockdown's antenna on the back has its own, tall hitbox. The hitbox persists even when the antenna is disabled via Rim Jobs. This causes the Lockdown to have problems entering and exiting Cribs with low vertical clearance, such as the Saints HQ, Safeword, Burns Hill Reactors and 3 Count Cribs. 3 Count's very short gate in particular does not allow the Lockdown to exit at all. All Homie-owned Cribs (Kinzie's Warehouse, Shaundi's Loft, Zimos' Pad, and Angel's Gym) have tall rolling doors similar to Rim Jobs door, allowing for smooth entry and exit.
- The Lockdown has surprisingly good drifting performance for a vehicle its size, compared to Bear or even the Bulldog.
- The Lockdown is one of the unlockable Virus Collection vehicles in Saints Row IV. It is one of two special police vehicles that can be unlocked, with the other one being a Wireframe Peacemaker.
