The AS14 Hammer is a weapon in Saints Row 2.
Overview[]
An updated model of the AS12 Riot in Saints Row, the AS14 Hammer has a high rate of fire, but the lowest damage per pellet out of any shotgun. Some Sons of Samedi carry it and it costs $10,000 from Friendly Fire.
Ultor invented this fully automatic shotgun for users with no concern for civilian mortalities, only to see their target blown to pieces.[1]
Trivia[]
- The Cheat for this weapon is #925.
- While not an exact counterpart, the AS14 Hammer resembles the USAS-12. The charging handle and barrel resemble the AA-12, while the handguard resembles the heat shield of an M203 used on AR-15 rifles.
- The "AS" in AS-14 could mean "Assault Shotgun".
- That AS14 Hammer's name may be a reference to the Pancor Jackhammer, a fully-automatic assault shotgun that never went into full production.
- A model without a magazine is used as a weather vane on the gazebo near the Warden's house in Hangman's Wharf.[2]
