Biography
Edit
Manuel is a member of an unnamed Colombian drug cartel. The Cartel affiliated itself with Los Carnales, a Hispanic street gang operating in the city of Stilwater. Manuel was sent towards Stilwater to act as the Colombians' representative to do business with the Lopez Family, the leaders of Los Carnales.[1]
After the death of Alejandro Lopez, his son Hector Lopez took control of Los Carnales and started to run it in a very less aggressive way than his father did. Manuel constantly suggested Hector to take more actions like his father would, though Hector would never listen.[2] Manuel also began to fall in love with Luz Avalos, the girlfriend of Hector's brother Angelo Lopez.[reference?] He became closer to Luz by taking her out each time that Angelo was unable to.[reference?] Eventually, Hector was killed by the The Protagonist, a member of the 3rd Street Saints. Angelo took control over Los Carnales, and due to Manuel and Angelo's rivalry, Manuel cut ties with the Carnales.[3]
Instead, he met with the 3rd Street Saints to start an alliance with them. He gave the Saints' leader Julius Little the address to the Lopez Mansion so that they could kill Angelo.[3]
Eventually, he went back to Colombia and took Luz with him. Several years later however, Manuel already found a new love and sent Luz back to Stilwater to act as the Colombians' drug mule and The Protagonist aided Luz in dealing drugs while protecting her from the Ronin.[4]
