Description
Edit
- The Alaskan has a pickup truck rear end and a 4-door 'Crew Cab' styling. It is one of the Brotherhood's gang vehicles, which they drive when in pursuit at a 4-star Brotherhood notoriety and is unlocked in your Garage after defeating them.
- The Alaskan can commonly be found driving in the Trailer Park, Downtown, Suburbs Expansion, Red Light and Projects District and is wanted by the Chop Shop in the Downtown District, which gives you $1,750 and 400 Respect in exchange when delivered for the first time. Unlike the The Brotherhood Swindle and Legion, it isn't seen in their turf and only spawns when you have a 4-star Brotherhood notoriety, as mentioned above.
Performance
Edit
- The Alaskan is one of the more powerful trucks in the game, and is powered by what sounds like a large V8 connected to a 4-wheel drive powertrain. This leads to good acceleration and a slightly above average top speed. It is one of the best off-roading trucks in the game and can climb steep hills and large boulders without many difficulties. Its handling is also good for its size, but the soft suspension in tight high-speed turns make it "bounce", i.e. when two wheels come off the road surface and then make contact with it again, repeating throughout the entirety of the turn. A similar problem plagues the Thorogood. One large plus with the Alaskan is that it can take quite a lot of damage, even in stock configuration. This truck can be a very good choice for missions where high notoriety is expected.
- In Saints Row: The Third, the Alaskan will spin more easily.

Trivia
Edit
- There is no cheat code for this vehicle.
- The Alaskan most likely gets its name from the Chevrolet Avalanche as there are many mountains in Alaska known for their numerous avalanches.
- The Alaskan is similar to a mid 1980's GMC Suburban, mixed with a little bit of a Tahoe feel, but its styling is also close to newer trucks like the Chevrolet Avalanche and the Ford Explorer Sport Trac.
- A Alaskan along with a Bulldog and a Thorogood always spawn at Friendly Fire in Rosen Oaks.
