All 54 unlockable vehicles[]
I did every activities, diversions, missions, and stunt jumps and I only went up to 53/54. Why? -unsigned: 23:27, August 2, 2009 Special:Contributions/24.108.39.18
- Sorry that you never got any help for this. I'm going to answer this for the benefit of anyone else who comes here. The usual answer is that people miss the stunt jumps, but you list that. Did you finish all races? There's also some vehicles unlocked for Diversions that you may have missed. Double-check all the diversions. -452 20:33, February 24, 2011 (UTC)
Bodyguards and Ninjas[]
We should try to work out exactly when the Bodyguards and Ninjas are unlocked.
I have an early save file, from after I completed the activities, but before i did the storyline missions.
I've just unlocked bodyguards at (49% completion, 9 missions, 5/45 hoods). 5/45 = 11%, so it's probably unlocked at 10%. Since other things are unlocked because of hoods, this would make sense. -452 01:46, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Ninjas unlocked at (60% completion / 20 missions / 16/45 hoods). 16/45 = 35%, which makes sense as it fits perfectly in the gap between 25% (two followers) and 45% (gang cars 2). For now I'm going to assume this is true and edit it into the article. If anyone discovers otherwise, please correct it. -452 04:42, March 3, 2011 (UTC)
"Chop Shop customization item"[]
There is some confusion about exactly what the "Chop Shop customisation item is. One place online says it is the Gang car customisation option, so I restarted the game to see if that was true.
Before doing any of the Chop Shops, I am already able to customise my gang vehicles. So I did completed one chop shop list, to see what happened, but after completing one list the reward was not unlocked.
In my main game, it is unlocked, and it says it is for "1 Chop Shop List"
This is the game code from unlockables.xtbl
<Unlockable> <Name>Diversion_ChopshopFinishedOne</Name> <Type> <Reminder></Reminder> </Type> <DisplayName>UNL_CHOPSHOP_FINISHEDONE</DisplayName> <Description>UNL_DESC_CHOPSHOP_FINISHEDONE</Description> <Image_Source>ui_ct_mayhem_1_half</Image_Source> <_Editor> <Category>Entries:Diversions</Category> </_Editor> <Event_Text>UNL_CHOPSHOP_FINISHEDONE_EVENT</Event_Text> <Category>Customization</Category> <Pause_Menu_Label>UNL_CHOPSHOP_FINISHEDONE</Pause_Menu_Label> </Unlockable> UNL_CHOPSHOP_FINISHEDONE = Chop Shop UNL_CHOPSHOP_FINISHEDONE_EVENT =1 Chop Shop List
I don't think ChopshopFinishedOne refers to finishing "1" list, I believe it is one reward for completing them all.
I've completed 2 Chop Shop lists, I'm going to do the other 3 and try and work out what this item is.

- Curiously, "Chop Shop - 1 Chop Shop List" appears in the "Customization items" list after completing the THIRD list.
- There appears to be no notication when it is unlocked, it just quietly appears. I missed it the first time around, and had to collect all the cars again, haha.
- The map icon for the Chop Shop had also disappeared at this point, but it turns out that is just a bug that happens some times.
- So, we know it is unlocked after doing the third list, but I still don't know what it is. (I reloaded and took the cars in the different order and it isn't tied to a specific shop either.)
- It isn't a store, I have 0 owned, and it isn't a crib, I have 2 owned. (red light and saints hide-out)

Unlockable vehicles[]
Several places online have said that there are 54 unlockable vehicles. This is wrong.
There are 42 unlockable vehicles, as it says in the statistics menu. There are made up of 29 different Unlockable Rewards. Note that while Maero's Atlasbreaker and the Brotherhood vehicles are unlocked at the same time, they are 2 separate entries in the Unlockable Rewards menu.
In addition to the 42 vehicles which are added to your garage, there are 3 levels of "gang customization cars", which add a total of 15 cars to your Gang Vehicle options. So it could be said that you can unlock 57 vehicles, but that would be misleading. The 3 promo vehicles, (Destroy, Peewee and Gyro Daddy), are not unlocked vehicles, and are counted in the normal 64 vehicle garage limit.
This is a list of the 42 vehicles you can unlock.

Unlockable Weapons[]
If you have Corporate Warfare you will unlock Unlimited Rockets. This will list as Downloadable Mission 6. I've tested it on a fresh Xbox Live account and you don't have to complete the missions from the DLC to unlock the Unlimited Rockets. Note: I own both DLCs however I'm not sure if you need to have just Corporate Warfare or BOTH CW and Ultor Exposed. Zadidoll (talk) 07:16, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
- That's interesting, so it just unlocks upon purchase?
- Does the unlock screen appear, or does it just appear in the menu?
- Is the unlock screen shown at the end of the mission?
- Are Tera and the Temptress unlocked at the right time? They're not supposed to be unlocked until the end of Ultor Exposed. (And the America's Next Top Scientist article shows the unlock screens)
-452 13:46, March 16, 2013 (UTC)
- It (unlimited rocket) appears it unlocks after purchase however I can't verify that since I bought the DLC such a long time ago. Upon loading the game what pops up is "Checking for downloadable content" so my guess is that it will appear after purchase and reloading the game (I vaguely remember I had to quit the game then load my last game save for the DLC missions and stuff to appear. So no unlock screen for unlimited rockets is shown at the end of the mission. As for Tera, I started a new game on a different profile that never played SR2 and she appears in the Phone under Homies however if you call her during Jailbreak you get a busy signal and after Jailbreak she'll answer but obviously won't show up since the character is unable to recuit one member until after Three Kings. Zadidoll (talk) 01:52, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, that's weird. Thanks! -452 02:18, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
- Confirmed in this video. -452 02:22, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, I take it back, it looks like that the Unlimited Rockets are to be unlocked upon completing Ultor Family Fun Day. I just replayed it on my main account and I did get the unlock screen. Why it's unlocked on a new account that's never played SR2 I don't know but I guess so long as one account has previously beaten the mission it unlocks across the board.. Zadidoll (talk) 02:42, March 18, 2013 (UTC)
- That's a strange thing, though. I just bought the DLC last night and already have unlimited rockets. The only RPG I have is the Annihilator which I've acquired via the Nuclear Mayhem. Might I add that this is also the first time I've played SR2 on any account. Soulrider28 (talk) 21:58, November 8, 2016 (UTC)
- Can you please check the Unlockables menu, and see if it is listed there? -452 22:10, November 8, 2016 (UTC)

Redirect[]
I have just deleted the old redirect link to this page. Currently, the top google result for that redirect is this page. In at least one month from now, the google results should be checked again to make sure that the deletion of the redirect does not effect the ranking of this page. (If the ranking changes, then we need to restore the redirect, and stop deleting them in future.)
The name of the redirect is included in the source of the page, here: (It's in a HTML comment to avoid poisoning the google results.)
I expect that there will be no change, since the top result for the SRTT form of the term gives the wiki as the top google result, but there was never a redirect for that term.
If this talk page still has the discuss tag later than March 2014, either remind me or check for yourself. 452 (talk) 05:02, February 17, 2014 (UTC)
- Well, it has been 1 month, and the google results have not changed. Just in case, I'll give it one more month. -452 (talk) 17:41, March 18, 2014 (UTC)
Double unlockable idea[]
We know that starting a new game under the same profile has some problems with diversion unlockables, because the profile is marked as "diversion has been completed". But what happens if a saved game which already unlocked everything is loaded into a new profile? -452 (talk) 22:49, March 18, 2014 (UTC)
