No Hood?[]

For some reason, there's only a 98% chance of the Beater variant having a Standard Hood, and nothing defined for the extra 2%. It shouldn't automatically default to the Gravaton hood without being defined, so this makes me think there may be a rare chance of the Stiletto spawning without a Hood in Saints Row, similar to the "No Hood Hollywood". Has anyone ever seen one without a hood? -452 18:36, May 7, 2013 (UTC)

I've seen one. It looked ;ike the beater variant, but it just had no hood. It was somewhere in the Saints Row district, can't remember the neighborhood. DomPlaysSR (talk) 16:34, April 7, 2015 (UTC)
Awesome, thanks! Hopefully one day someone can find it and get a photo. -452 16:36, April 7, 2015 (UTC)

For reference, there is a also a discussion including the no-hood Stiletto located on Talk:Destiny. -452 01:29, April 13, 2016 (UTC)

Saints Row IV Samedi variant[]

User:Halcrow1215 has provided an xbox360 gamesave containing the Samedi Churchill and Stiletto, and thus appears to be the first person in the world to obtain them, although we do not know how. http://www.game-tuts.com/modio/gamesaves/save/e865777a31f3430bab109895e4d7dc97 -452 (talk) 04:22, August 13, 2014 (UTC)

SOS Stiletto (Re-Elected)[]

Hello,

I obtained the Stiletto on Saints Row IV a couple of weeks ago in Saints Row IV Re-Elected (Xbox One). *AT THE TIME*, I wasn't sure how my friend and caused the random spawn other than it just randomly doing so. So, today I decided to try the N-Forcer method, and one spawned in a parking space, next to the Chapel!

However, this seems to be FAR less reliant than the N-Forcer, as I tried it a total of 6 times today, and only got it to spawn twice.

While my one other friend and I were playing (about a week ago), we were able to get the Metal Green Churchill to spawn w/ white roof, and the Stiletto in one go. Both spawned in the same parking spot within 5 minutes of each other, across the street from Let's Pretend.

Going back to this not being reliant, could this be due to more vehicles being in the same Hostage Class, etc, as the Stiletto? I've spent a bit of time observing vehicle spawns, and I'll make a post about that in the "Vehicles in Saints Row IV Talk" section.

Hostage Class won't be a factor, but Class could possibly be.
So, as with the N-Forcer, destroying the vehicle is important in getting it to spawn? -452 16:32, February 22, 2019 (UTC)
Yes, it is crucial to getting it to work. I actually noticed that the Stiletto would only spawn after you threw the burnt out chassis, and it then "faded away". A bit of an unrelated note, but they spawn with the decals, but when saved or modified they vanish.

Thanks for the extra note about throwing them - that's what I was doing with the N-Forcer already, but it's good to know for sure.
And yeah, there's a few vehicles with disappearing decals - I seem to remember investigating it and discovering the likely reason years ago, but it's a bit fuzzy now. I think it was something like "To reduce memory usage of random vehicles, when you save any variant to the garage it is replaced by the "Fully Customizable" variant with the matching vehicle components copied over, but some gang-specific vehicles have decals that the "Fully Customizable" is not defined to have, so that attribute isn't set for the saved vehicle."
Don't quote me on that, but check out Forum:Variants if you want to look into it. :)
